Motorcoach Companies Helping Communities Devastated by Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene has left widespread destruction, impacting thousands of families and communities along the Atlantic Coast. Now, more than ever, our efforts can make a difference. Burlington Trailways, a prominent Midwest transportation provider, has strengthened its fleet by adding four new motorcoaches. This expansion reaffirms the company’s commitment to offering passengers safe, reliable, and comfortable services. The fleet additions include a state-of-the-art MCI D4520 motorcoach and three luxury Prevost H3 models, all supporting different aspects of the company’s diverse operations.

One of the standout acquisitions is the MCI D4520, purchased through the 5311(f) grant program, funded by the Iowa Department of Transportation. This program supports intercity bus services, particularly in rural areas. The new MCI motorcoach replaces an older vehicle that had accumulated nearly 2 million miles, ensuring that Burlington Trailways can continue to provide dependable service throughout the Midwest. The MCI D4520 boasts modern amenities, increased efficiency, and the latest safety features, allowing the company to uphold its high standards for passenger comfort and service reliability.

The other three additions are Prevost H3 model buses, acquired through private funding. Two of these vehicles are being incorporated into Burlington Trailways’ charter fleet, enhancing the company’s ability to cater to corporate, educational, and private events. Known for its luxurious interiors and superior ride quality, the Prevost H3 models offer premium travel experiences for charter clients.

Additionally, the third Prevost H3 will be used for private group tours operated by Trailways Travel. Whether for leisure, educational excursions, or corporate events, this motorcoach provides passengers with an elevated travel experience, combining comfort, style, and convenience. The bus will also be available for charter clients, making it a versatile addition to the fleet.

Acquiring these motorcoaches allows Burlington Trailways to stay at the forefront of the transportation industry, continuing its legacy of excellence in scheduled services, charter buses, and group tours. With enhanced comfort and reliability, the company remains a trusted partner for passengers throughout the region.
